When I posted the above photo on Facebook, a German friend asked for the translation of the original poem about "the freirnd's house" by Sohrab Sepehri. I made a crude attempt.
The Address
It was by twilight when the horseman asked
“Where is the friend’s house?”
The sky paused.
Pointing at the poplar tree
A passerby spoke to the darkness of the sand
With a branch of light:
“Before reaching the tree,
There is a path in the field
Greener than God’s sleep
Where love is as blue as honesty’s feathers.
Go to the end of the path,
Approach behind puberty.
Turn two steps short of the flower of solitude,
Stop at the fountain of earth’s immortal myths.
A lucid fear will engulf you.
In the fluid sincerity of the space,
You will hear a crackling sound:
You will see a child
Climbing a tall pine tree
To grab a baby bird from a nest of light.
Ask him
Where the friend’s house is.”
Sohrab Sepehri

Thanks for this but don't give up your day job.
Thanks so much GR. I liked your first and second suggestions/corrections. Also I changed "transparent" to "lucid." Cheers.
You’re welcome, JJ.
I’m already getting used to “engulf.” Haha

Pretty good job Jahanshah. May I suggest ‘pellucid’ instead of ‘transparent’? It sounds more poetic to me.
