No one remembers how the war starts. Not really. Historians unearth parchments after the fact: they came to barter but stole the king's daughter. Someone shot some duke. Some Army massacred some unarmed minority. But what we do remember is demise. Suicides underground when you used to roam in an eagle's nest. The president, bearded, found in a hole. The rebel leader dumped at sea. No shortages of ends. And the mess that ensues. And the winners making the rules all the way to the bank.

Human Rights Watch believes that the cumulative impact of authorities’ decades-long systematic repression is an intentional and severe deprivation of Baha’is’ fundamental rights and amounts to the crime against humanity of persecution.

Is this Pickering in the Iran project the same Pickering who is a board member of the Islamist fascist lobby NIAC and a salesman for Boeing with multi billion dollar sales to the Islamist fascist pending?
Does anyone consider the prospects of "Cheating & Lying" on the part of the mullahs? To rely on the agreement with these guys to play nice and keep their word is extremly naive. Oh, inspections....? Sure two-weeks notice should be plenty of time to hide stuff and what about secret sites?
Yes, as Fred said, these guys have no credibility. Let the bombing begin!
If bombing is not the solution, Then let's wait so that at least 75% of the eighty million people get their crap together, make all the necessary changes and in about another 20 years, things should be back to normal.
The kinda dream scenario west-residing "la a land types" have dreamed up for iran.
LOL
Are you saying I'm advocating war when I state something very logical? You have me mixed up with the chicken-hawk caucus on this site......But....does this mean you believe everything the Mullahs say?
I don't really care if IRI's inventory of warheads or peacefeet or whatever poses any threat abroad...My problem is with the VF's theocratic dictatorship inside our meehan... Why should any irooni be concerned about how Israelis feel and care about nukes issues?... Remember; Regardless of the regime within, the nuclear technology is our right and legal property... After the collapse of the IR, no hurriedly fleeing ayatollah can shove a warhead or two under his cloak... They will all remain with us, for us the irooni people... something like that...
Razi
The theocracy was brought to iran intentionally and willfully by those who are now comfortably residing abroad and shoot useless messages of solidarity and introspection , all to no avail.
It would be a legitimate right and "property" . were it developed by a righteous regime not a bunch of people who were put in place by a majority who now live away from iran. True, IRI has a strong domestic support base as well, but that doesn't absolve the responsibility for those who ushered this mess in and then fled.
FOr iranians , i don't feel that there is any fairness for being alianated , just because there are criminals and crooks running the country. Do you?
Why you missed the 10-minute window to edit by injecting a small dose of logic in your comment, is well beyond me... Maybe, that's the reason JJ keeps the delete button always active. Use it.
Dear Ex_CoP: Of course, we are all free to question anything and everything. It just happens that some of the members here have ulterior motives. They will not rest till they see to the breakup of our homeland. Despite their best efforts to hide in the sheep’s clothing, every once in a while their true nature gets the better of them. Brace yourself, the show is about to begin.
Dear Doctor, I still like you, regardless of what they say about you :)

I appreciate your little advice, Coming from The Vanguard of Logic, It means a lot to me. But i beleve God has given us the Delete button, for a better reason, so some of the commenters can control their Beyond-the-incredible wisdom, you know...Just in case they end up "radicalizing" young and impressionable folks around here.
Kamal: Awww....That is so sweet...Thank you. And i still laugh at ur jokes...i mean comments on this site. But i still see that you are stuck to your decrepit logic of people having certain agenda on this site... which is surprising frankly, because for the life of me i thought the "intellectual eyeranians" had gotten past that and learned to be more open-minded.
And your Warnings based on your assumptions...Dude they are priceless.
p.s. We can work on your grammer /sentence structure if you want to:)
I’m delighted to hear that I’ve been the source of entertainment for you. As for my conspiracy theories, I sure hope that I’m wrong but all indications point to a disastrous future. I hate to be the one to say “I told you so” My gratitude for your offer to help me with my English but respectfully I will pass on it. I have no claim of proficiency on any of the languages that I speak but as long as I can make a connection with my audience, I’m satisfied. Lastly, please be aware that contrary to all the hype, the American smart bombs are actually very dumb. I would take appropriate measures if I were you. Cheers.
Kamal FM
When you start your comment to anyone with a sarcastic undertone, then sarcasm is what you will get. Right? You focused on "what others say about me" , so i returned the favor by poiting that out to you. Who dropped the ball there?
i never used the words conspiracy theories, those are your word choices. I just was not agreeing with your position and that of a lot other users on this site, that there are people with an agenda out there, Simply because there are no solid proof or evidence for that matter. The sad thing is that when some , not you are confronted with it, they take it as an attack on their and their positions and decide to take it up on themsleves to resort to pathetic name-calling strategies .
The biggest issue here is the presupposition that some people are absolutely wrong, while others are 100% right.
There is no such thing as "dumb bomb" . Please don't make things up. What most people here don't want to get is that, No one is advocating a millitary strategy for iran, But at the same time the pipe dream of expecting a fundamental change carried out by the iranians within iran, is just that a pipe dream, which again does not mean War would be the real solution. Ultimately though , who knows?!
Worst, when they run out of a good and solid defense of their position, they turn around and blame you for insulting them. Which means that they really do not understand the meaning of a good and thorugh discussion , because they want to be the boss, and they want to be the Judge on who is right and who is wrong. Case in point, what went down on Fred's blog with Ex-cop.
BTW, Would u kindly elaborate on the list of those measures?
Yes, and fine. But what if Iran can simply buy a North Korean made warhead and snap it onto their missiles? How does that make you feel now?
Farceynation
Oh that one is easy. There will be no complaints whatsoever. That , after all will be the god given right of this nation regardless of which party, individual or entity is running the show. Make it on our own, get it from N. Korea, They don't care. so long as it has got the name IRI on it and reduces or even eliminates any possibilty of a harsh and decisive gesture toward getting rid of them.
It is a wide open field. Dream hard and sky is the limit.
Make no mistakes about it. The only thing stopping Iran from becoming another Iraq, Syria, or Libya is a strong military deterrent, and retaliation capability.
