Morning Blend

Every morning my love
Brings me a cup of coffee
With a piece of dark chocolate.

I sit up in bed,
Put her pillow behind me,
Give her a kiss
And blend with the aroma of the coffee.

One hour later
It’s my turn.
She puts her towel
In the dryer
And asks Alexa to set the alarm.

After ten minutes
I get the warm towel
And appear behind the shower door.
She dries off the water
From her eyelashes,
Gives me a kiss
And blends with the heat of the towel.

آمیزه‌ی بامدادی

هر بامداد یارم برایم
فنجانی قهوه می‌آورد
با تکه‌ای شکلاتِ خالص.
من در بستر می‌نشینم
بالشش را پشتم می‌گذارم
بوسه‌ای به او می‌دهم
و با بوی قهوه در‌می‌آمیزم.

یک ساعت دیرتر
نوبت من است.
او حوله‌اش را در خشک‌کن می‌نهد
و از آلکسا می‌خواهد*
ساعت را روی زنگ بگذارد.

من پس از ده دقیقه
حوله‌ی گرم را بیرون می‌آورم
و پشت درِ شیشه‌ای ظاهر میشوم.
او آب را
از مژگانش می‌زداید
بوسه‌ای به من می‌دهد
و با گرمای حوله در‌می‌آمیزد.
