What the Geese Say

What do the geese tell you?
They tell me of the earth expanse,
Of the sky infinity,
Of where the water reaches the land,
Of having eyes for endless horizon,
Of the roar of a morning bugle
In the dormitory of Poets Without Borders,
Of a four-year-old boy who for the first time
Removes the training wheels of his tricycle
And surprised by the hidden power in his legs
Pedals his bicycle with ease
And disappears from the sight of his worried father
With his uplifted bangs
Still waving in the wind.

غازها چه می گویند
 

غازها به تو چه می گویند؟
از فراخی زمین می گویند
از بیکرانی آسمان
از جایی که آب به خاک می رسد
از چشم داشتن به افق بی پایان
از غریو شیپور صبحگاهی
در خوابگاه شاعران بی مرز
از پسر چارساله ای که نخستین بار
چرخهای آموزشی سه چرخه اش را باز میکند
و با شگفتی
از نیروی نهفته در پاهایش
بر دوچرخه اش سبکبارانه پا می زند
و از چشمرس پدر نگرانش دور میشود
با کاکلی برافراشته
که همچنان در باد تاب میخورد.
