There's a peculiar dymanic with these Iranian so-called "opposition" characters. The more the Islamic Republic abuses these losers, the more they defend it. I believe it's a massive case of Stockholm Syndrome, with the Iranian women being the most affected--as they are always the most staunch supporters of the IR. Remember how the IR harassed Haleh Esfandiari and jailed her for months for no reason? But now she and her Jewish Iranian husband are two of the biggest waterboys/watergirls of the IR. Her husband even wrote a "scholarly" article trying to repudiate Khomeini's famous phrase about letting Iran burn so that Islam prevails.
