Good question GR, I think the invention of internet and alternative media slowed down the monopoly of a news and the garbage than comes out of CNN, FOX, VOA, BBC,AP, etc howevere these entities have tons of money , they reach to a wider audiance at least for now and they are master manipulator of psychee and minds and they will do their best to suffocate alternative media, they may even buy some independent news and web organization behind the scene just to shut them down and I think they started already.
