EmroozNama, a site operated by a former VOA journalist, has filed a report on a contentious meeting in which, in the presence of the current head of Persian Service, Setareh Derakhshesh, “dozens of Persian Service employees” requested her ouster.

It is an open secret that the Persian service of the VOA is a nest of pro “reformist” gang of the Islamist fascists, and their lobby NIAC has had its way with it all during the Obama times.

Now with naming Kenneth R. Weinstein as the new interim head of Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) expectations are high for some meaningful changes in that troubled service.

Lets hope if heads are to be rolled; it will be for the right reason and not settling petty personal scores.
