Yes! vafa animal shelter in Hashtgerd which was founded in 2004, is the first shelter of its kind in Iran.  They are dedicated to providing help and shelter to injured and homeless dogs -- currently housing over 450 dogs. The shelter is a non-government charity organization relying solely on private donations and volunteers. Best way to help the shelter is by having your family/friends who live in Iran, to donate directly on your behalf:
