It is now official, in one corner it will be Hillary Clinton, and in the opposite corner of the U.S. Presidential ring will be Donald Trump verbally duking it out for the top prize.

Taking into account U.S. Constitution and all the redundant failsafe provisions built into it to guard against tyranny taking hold in America, it is a safe bet on America surviving whomever in the Oval Office and continuing to be the beacon of freedom in the world.

However, as far as Iran is concerned, there is a stark difference between the “lesser of two evils” in the upcoming U.S. Presidential election.

Aside some sound bites, often being contradicted in a later sound bites, not much is known about Trump’s Iran policy, or any policy for that matter.

Clinton on the other hand is a different story.  Although a key player in Obama’s faulty legacy nuke deal with the Islamist fascist Führer, and despite her cozy relationship with the lifetime leader of the NIAC lobby representing Islamist fascist -”reformers” and all, she is on the record being against Obama’s shameful abandoning of millions of peaceful Iranian demonstrators wanting democracy and shouting:” Obama, Obama, you’re either with us or with them” (video ↓).

Here is what Clinton has said in her book “Hard Choices”:

“In retrospect I'm not sure our restraint was the right choices, it did not stop the regime from ruthlessly crushing the Green Movement, which was exceedingly painful to watch.

I came to regret that we did not speak out more forcefully and rally others to do the same."

One can always hope the one who gets to occupy the Oval office for the next four years, is someone kinder to Democracy and human rights activists around the world - particularly in Iran which is the key battle ground for reinstitution of sanity and stopping Islamist barbarism – than Obama was during his two terms in office.

Sanction works, U.S. Senate, get to it.
